Children's Sunday School: We will be using curriculum from “A Joyful Path,” which has a variety of activities, stories, crafts, and scripture. We would like to have the children tithe based on Genesis 28:22—"everything you give me I will give a tenth back to you."
On the Sundays when we only have one service we will not have Sunday school. A peek ahead:
No Sunday School
One service at 10 a.m., so no Sunday School

Family Systems Class: In this discussion-based class, we will learn about family systems using the teachings of Murray Bowen. Come and learn about how families work (or sometimes don't work), including how we learn to be individuals (self-differentiation), how families handle conflict (including triangulation), overall anxiety and conflict levels of families, how emotional problems can be passed between family members (family projection), and how birth order can shape us. Later in the class we will work on creating our own family genogram charts; this can illuminate how our families' patterns have affected us, and how to improve things moving forward.
